Bio
I’m a San Francisco-based freelance photojournalist whose images appear in The Oakland Tribune, Yes! Magazine, Wired News, San Francisco Magazine, the San Francisco Bay Guardian and Diablo Magazine. My work has also been published in a variety of print and online magazines nationally and internationally.

I’m probably best known for my imagery of Silicon Valley people and events, but I split my time capturing the unique parts of SF Bay Area culture – the arts, the technology and the underground scene. I’m currently working on long-term photo documentaries of the East Bay Rats Motorcycle Club (a biker club in West Oakland) and Circo Caballero, a traveling Mexican circus.

I studied film/video and photography at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada and the San Francisco Art Institute. I graduated from Emily Carr in Multi-Media. In spring 2009 I had the privilege of studying photojournalism with Professor Ken Kobre at San Francisco State University.

I am currently interning with the Bay Area News Group at the Oakland Tribune.
